Chokola Lakay is a sensory-rich performance and interactive workshop blending movement, storytelling, cooking, and communal participation. Rooted in the Haitian ritual of preparing Chokola péyi (Haitian Hot Chocolate), this piece explores notions of home, heritage, and memory.

The Instigation Festival brings Chicago & New Orleans music, movement and visual artists together for a week of improvised and interesting interdisciplinary collaboration in each city. Founded in 2016 by guitarist Steve Marquette and movement artist Marie Casimir, the festival has presented over seventy artists at twenty venues across seven festivals.
